World Habitat Day

Thirty-five years ago, the United Nations General Assembly took an important step in promoting the idea that everyone deserves a decent place to live by declaring that the first Monday in October would be World Habitat Day.

We join with our partners around the world to rededicate ourselves to recognizing that everyone deserves the right to basic shelter. This year, we'd like to invite you to help us get this message out to the masses.

Join us for World Habitat Day, and year-round, by making your voice heard to help families in need of affordable housing. Learn about our Cost of Home campaign and how you can help.

To donate to World Habitat Day or Cost of Home, come into our ReStore—or click the donate button below! All donations go straight towards affordable housing for families like Tiffany and Sergio—right here in Waukesha County.
