COVID-19 Policy

We encourage each volunteer to consider their vaccination status and CDC - COVID 19 Risk Factors when deciding whether to volunteer.

Of particular note:

​

• Masks / face coverings are recommended but not required for indoor locations. 

• If you have been recently exposed to someone who has tested positive with COVID or have recently tested positive we ask that they reach out to erin@habitatwaukesha.org to discuss our protocols further before volunteering.

• Daily wellness checks should be self-performed before coming to Habitat. If anyone answers “yes” to either of these questions, please stay home for the day.

  • If you are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19, have you had exposure to anyone with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 within the last 14 days?

  • Regardless of vaccination status, are you currently experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms (including fever, sore throat, respiratory illness, difficulty breathing, loss of taste or smell)

• All volunteers, staff, AmeriCorps, and partner families should stay home if they are sick.

• If within 10 days of you volunteering with Habitat you test positive or are exposed to someone who tests positive. We ask that you share that information with the volunteer manager at erin@habitatwaukesha.org.
